Seminar: Introduction to Conversations Around Race

On Saturday, June 27th, from 10am-12pm, we will gather over Zoom for a community discussion about race and racism.  The goal of this time is to take a next step as a church in being able to talk about very important but hard things, recognizing that EPC intends to play the long game and continue to engage with this topic in the upcoming years.   Pastor Scott will present on why we, as a church, need to be discussing and thinking about this, with some theological foundations for us as we move forward.  Justin Chao will lead a workshop on how to have dialogue, which can help us move into future conversations, and provide some equipping for engaging with others outside the church.  While all are welcome, our intent is not to present information of a general interest, but to be discipling those within Emmanuel.
