Topic: A Structure To Promote Peace
Romans 12: “If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” It is not always possible to live peaceably with all. We will consider 3 passages in Matthew that work together to help us navigate interpersonal conflict so that we can do what is within our responsibility to glorify God by seeking peace in relationships.
We will serve lunch. If you know you’ll be attending, please RSVP for lunch by Mon, Feb 2, to help us plan. Registering guarantees there will be food for you. All are welcome, whether you register or not.
Once a month, after church, Scott will lead a class called “Relating”. Rapid changes in society (technology, values, post-Covid effects, etc.) are leaving many feeling lonely and disconnected. It can seem we are losing the basic skills to be able to relate in healthy and meaningful ways.
These classes, which will include teaching and discussion, are a time to process some of these themes together (how to have a hard conversation, how Christian virtues like kindness or patience can help us, etc.). All are welcome.
