Step 1: Initiate
Have you thought about wanting your kids to have a religion?

What has been your spiritual journey? What happened for you? We were in the same home…
What’s good in your life? What are you thankful for?
What seems out of control in your life?
On the heels of you sharing, “I went to church this past weekend…”
What’s your spiritual background?
If you were to ask God for anything, what would you ask?
I don’t know how religious you are, but I want to share with you an example of compassion of Jesus
Step 2: Investigate
Why did you pick your career?
Why, why, why; act like a toddler! (With discretion!)
For people who feel content…
How do you make sense of the world right now?
Versus “why” questions:
How does that play a role in your life?
What does that mean to you?
How did that change your childhood?
How did that impact you?
Where do you find joy, peace, and contentment?
Step 3: Stimulate
Observation
Some of these questions feel intrusive
What are the values of your belief system?
“I really care about that too!”
Step 4: Relate
Why did you pick your career?
“Isn’t it neat that God is reflected in your reasons?”
